"Be happy for this moment.  This moment is your life."
Omar Khayyam

About my Journey

I believe that life is a journey, not a destination.  The Bhagavad Gita says that "Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self."  I never expected to be where I am today.  And I'm not quite sure why I went to my first yoga class in 2011, but I did and then I just couldn't stop going.  I can remember specific moments throughout my yogic journey where I felt flexible or balanced - they were wonderful moments!  But the great revelation came when yoga's lessons came off of the mat and into my every day life.  I am still learning to be fully present - it is not something that changes overnight.  But most of all, yoga has given me the opportunity to simply be me and I can't wait for the next step on my journey!

I earned my yoga instructor certification in 2014 and have been teaching yoga ever since.  My experience varies from teen classes to seniors; hatha flow to power and I invite you to join me as we journey together through the practice of yoga.  Namaste!

Izzy

Izzy is a non-shedding hypoallergenic Australian Labradoodle who started coming to the studio in November of 2019 at age 1.5.  She greets everyone and loves receiving pats (belly rubs if you're really lucky) and sneaking kisses if she can.  Izzy will do almost anything for peanut butter, cheese & bacon and loves to travel, whether it's a car ride, a walk around the block or being carried in her K9 backpack dog carrier.
Hunter is Izzy's half sister (they have the same mom) and is also a non-shedding hypoallergenic Australian Labradoodle who started coming to the studio in September of 2020 at 14 weeks old.  Hunter also loves peanut butter, cheese & bacon and is the biggest homebody of the Insull girls (which says a lot).  She has endless energy and loves playing fetch and just being outside in general.
